Graduation is in 3 weeks and all the seniors are (not so patiently) waiting to put on their cap and gowns. This year, the guest speaker will be our very own principal, Bill Taylor.
Mr. Taylor, son of Richard and Margaret Taylor, was born and raised in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin. He grew up with two older brothers. He attended Goodman High School, and graduated in 1990. He then continued his education at Marian University. While there, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in science in K-8 education, a minor is social studies, and a Master’s degree in educational leadership.
After college, Bill Taylor began his teaching career in 2008 at Wabeno High School, teaching 7th grade science and social studies for four years. His last two years as a teacher, he taught social studies and grammar. In 2014, Mr. Taylor became the Wabeno School principal. In his time here so far, he has coached basketball and football.
Mr. Taylor married Tina, who is a guidance counselor at Crandon High school, and had two children. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing baseball and softball.
